Texture and Flare: Avel Bacudio’s RTW Collection
It was that time of the year again when all fashionistas, photographers, designers, models and bloggers in the Philippines gather at the SMX Convention Center for the Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012. And as a tradition that started around 3 years dated back, I am one of those very excited to see the new Filipino collection — this time, with Manille Paris. :)
Avel Bacudio’s collection is a black and white parade of different textures and metallic details. You may think that the collection is “old” and simple because of the colors, but the details, lines and layering made a mixture of both the classic and the contemporary — a wow-worthy. Evident on his collection (and what I liked the most *wink*) is the volume on the lower part of the pieces, it is structured perfectly having the right amount of sophisticated oomph! to the master art. I was literally asking, “What’s next?” throughout the show. And it didn’t fail me. :)
It seems like the designer built an army of fashion polices and colonels! Here are my favorites:

*Sorry for the ultra blurred pictures. My bad. Haha! I have to practice pa shooting moving subjects.*

For blank months of having the strawberry stuff, I’m changing my Twitter background!
Picked a really cool picture (well, for me;)) that I can feel will unleash my creative-slash-artistic side, the thinking-outside-the-box attitude I badly need in my job right now.
I promised myself there’ll be no reservations until I do things right. Until I succeed. No excuses until I soar high. No excuses, I repeat.
I will let the world watch. See how I prove to you I am the Game Changer. And for a Game Changer, trends and theories hardly matter.
Spreading more love,

Testing my editing skills. Whew, I’m getting better sa Paint ah. Yay for me! Hahaha! <3
Few days after we bought my camera, my father brought out this beautiful baby and asked me if he could use the spare Nikon strap. Of course, I said yes!
My father has been into photography even before he was married. I guess I got the interest to do the same thing from him. Haha! However, today, he doesn’t pursue it anymore, maybe, due to lack of time.
I can’ get my hands off this baby! I knew I should let you guys see it. Vintage and priceless.
Swing.
When we were young, almost all of us have gone to a playground and have played with a swing. It was fun though at times, we doubt if the swing is good enough to lift us up.
This is a pair of swing in a playground near our house. I was waiting for my Tita and cousins when I saw this scene and took a picture of it. The bars were rusty that the paint was scrapped off the bars showing how old this plaything is. I love how the dry leaves gather around the swing but not under the two seats.
Rain or shine, this swing stood. It never failed to serve its purpose to children who wants to have a little bit of fun. :D

Scrabble Play.
Yes, it was abit emo. Hahaha! I just wanted to play some words and phrases on the Scrabble and I came up with this as it is somewhat related to the game. :)
This has no emotional relation to me alright? Hihi :”)
P.S. I’m thinking of pursuing Photography so I’m kind of starting right now :)
Hope you liked it :D
